LIBRARY DRAMA

As SIU students know, Morris Library is undergoing some heavy construction and it may take up to 24-48 hours!!! before one can get a book. What to do? Well, as a student worker, I have some helpful tricks of geting your book on time and other resources you can go to get your book immediately.

1. Click these links to go to SIU Catalog if your book is there hold on for step 2, if it isn't in the SIU catalog then click here to search ILLINET website, community of illinois libraries that may have your book. Follow the steps on the website to get your book.

2. Now for you guys that just need to get your book at SIU during this hectic time, just make sure u request it early on mondays or a week ahead so u wont get behind scheduled work.

If you've had a class with Prof Recktenwald, you'll probably hear how he blasts the Chicago Suntimes, well the problem is I like the Suntimes.
The paper has white space and is so relevant to modern society. The tribune on the other hand seems old-fashioned. I think it's time to take a vote on which papers the best.. if you read this post vote on which ones the best by sending in your comments.... Thanks
